FAQs: Managing Conference Recordings
Q: Where can I find the recordings I have made?
A: Your recordings can be found in your Content Library which is located within the Share Portal section of your Account Dashboard.
Q: Where is my Content Library?
A: You must first access your Account Dashboard by entering your personal Login ID and Password, then Enter. Select Share Portal from the main Dashboard page. From the Share Portal menu, select Content Library.
Q: How long does it take for my recordings to appear in my Content Library?
A: For an Audio-only recording, the recording will usually be finalised and placed into the Content Library within 20 minutes following an hour long meeting. For a combined Audio-Web recording using Microsoft Live Meeting or WebEx, the recording will usually be finalised and placed into the Content Library within 2 hours following an hour long meeting.
Q: How can I change the Title of a recording in my Content Library?
A: Select the More Options button to the left of the recorded content that you wish to rename. Select Edit. Type a new Title for the recording into the Title field. Click Submit and your recording will be saved with the new Title.
Q: How do I listen to a recording?
A: Within your Content Library, select the Download button to the right of the recording that you wish to listen to. A File Download window will appear. Select Open to listen to your recording, or select Save if you wish to save a copy of the file to your computer.
Q: How can I share my recordings with others?
A: A secure Portal Page can be created by selecting Portal Pages from the main Dashboard page. Select Create and then New Portal Pages. Enter a Title and select the desired features for your Portal Page, click Submit. Select the Publish button, then Content. Locate the recordings you wish to share, click the Add button beside each recording, click Finish. Select the Published Content tab to review the content you have selected, make changes if necessary, select Finish when complete. An invitation including the Portal Page access details will be emailed to you within minutes. Forward the email to the individuals you wish to share your recorded content with.
Q: How can I view and listen to my Microsoft Live Meeting recording?
A: Within your Content Library, select the Download button to the right of the recording that you wish to view. A File Download window will appear. Select Open to view and listen to the Windows Media (.wmv) recording, or click on Save if you wish to save a copy of the file to your computer.
Q: How can I view and listen to my WebEx recording?
A: WebEx recordings can only be viewed within the WebEx Network Recording Player. To download and install the WebEx Network Recording Player, please click here. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the player. Access your Content Library and download a copy of the recording to your computer. Locate and open the WebEx Network Recording Player program on your computer. Select File, then Open. Locate and open the saved WebEx (.arf) recording file. Click Play on the WebEx Player.
